To offer safe shelter to victims of domestic violence, provide support services to victims, and educate Rush County regarding domestic violence and its prevention.
For nearly 25 years, Rush County Victims Assistance (RCVA) / Phoenix House has been a steadfast beacon of hope and safety in Rush County. Guided by our mission, we are committed to empowering survivors and building a safer future for them and their families. With the faithful support of dedicated staff and volunteers along with generous community partners and grants, we provide a compassionate haven and vital resources to those in need, while working tirelessly to raise awareness and prevent abuse across our region.

Providing Safety & Support
At the Phoenix House Shelter, we offer guests an immediate, safe place to stay, receive support services, and work with staff to create a personalized plan to get safe and reclaim their independence.
Offering Help to Others
We offer education and guidance on how to effectively support friends or family members in abusive relationships ensuring your support creates a safe and nurturing environment without causing unintended stress or disruption.
Supporting Our Mission
We empower survivors through various methods of donations, direct and non-direct support volunteer assistance, and support through corporate sponsorships and grants that strengthen our mission.
