Meet our new RCVA Board President
Penny Busald Steps Down as RCVA President
“I am not leaving, just changing seats,” Penny explained at our January meeting. She has skillfully served as the RCVA President for seven years, helping RCVA to rise up out of financial challenges and bring a stronger presence to Rush County.
As Penny said, “Today, I ask for your support as I step down from that position. I think it is time for some fresh ideas and leadership to continue to grow…and work hard to keep our services available to the victims of domestic violence in Rush County.” Penny would like to remain on the Board of RCVA, and that certainly pleases the board! Thank you, Penny, for your years of
dedication, service and accomplishments for RCVA.
Jennifer Bullard Serves as new RCVA President
It is and has been such an honor to serve on the board of directors of Rush County Victims Assistance for the past seven years. I’ve witnessed tremendous dedication from a talented group of Rush County citizens. This devotion is born out of a genuine desire to stand in the gap for those in this community compromised by domestic violence. No one has exhibited this more than Penny Busald, who has led the board with wisdom and her unique talent to cultivate us into a family.
It is a privilege to be the next president of RCVA. By stepping in Penny’s footprints, I hope to see the board continue to grow in
its relationship with the community, leading to continuing awareness and service to the need that RCVA addresses. Thank you,
Penny, for preparing the board for our next great works to the community and for continuing with RCVA!
If the fans are a football team’s 12th man, the community should know they are ours. Both the board and the community have come along together to change lives and even save lives. Please remember the work of RCVA. By knowing we are there and utilizing this service, you can provide or receive the answers to a crisis most don’t realize even exists. Go, team!
